My name is Philip Walter. I am a thirty-something multi-media producer. During business hours, I execute all phases of video production, from planning and scripting to shooting and editing to graphic design and product delivery, for Arkansas Children’s Hospital. These productions range from outside PR and marketing support to internal employee communications to network news pieces. As a freelancer, I have produced documentary films and yoga DVD’s, started a series of mind-body-spirit fitness webisodes, and designed several websites including this one.
The past year has brought me a personal trainer certification from the International Sports Sciences Association, as well as a yoga teacher certification in Prasara Yoga from RMAX International. I have combined this knowledge with my experiences in home cooking, stress reduction techniques, and meditation to complete work on my first book, The Brickhouse Bodymind Blueprint: Sustaining Total Fitness Through the Transformation of Mind, Body, and Spirit, which I will be publishing myself at the end of January 2009. I plan to start a blog as soon as the book comes out about my failures and successes in the world of self-publishing. I also provide free mind-body-spirit fitness articles, as well as audio and video content, at BrickhouseBodymind.com.
In conjunction with the release of my book, I plan to start teaching Flow Recovery Workshops at yoga studios, churches, and other organizations around my hometown. A video is coming soon to show a sampling from one of these workshops. If you are interested in having me come talk to your organization, please e-mail me at philip(at)brickhousebodymind.com.
My hometown is Little Rock, AR, where I live with my wife, Amy, who teaches Pre-K and is expecting our first child in June 2009. It is my goal to remain always open to the creative expression of infinite possibilities. To that end, I am perpetually involved in one project or another, which I know brings endless amusement and at times frustration to those who are closest to me. I thank them for their patience.
Humbly, I appreciate your interest in my work and can only hope you find even the smallest seed of inspiration in it.
Peace to you and yours,
